Orchid Sake Brewery

Orchid Sake Brewery began with a bewildering idea — that sake could be brewed from scratch in Singapore, in the full heat of the tropics, and thrive. It brought together Yumika and Reuben as the brewing and enterprise arms of a project that everyone else deemed impossible.

For them it was never only about the drink (although they do love to drink, a lot). It was about bringing Japanese craft and culture to a Singaporean table, and proving that a tradition can take root somewhere entirely new and unexpected.
