Inspired by Paul Klee's Mildtropische Landschaft (Mild Tropical Landscape), Bbblob created a tropical landscape with Singaporean elements featuring the Supertrees, Garden Dome and orchids. She employed colours that reflect a tropical mood—of bright purple, pink and blue contrasted with orange and green—and presented in a cubist, abstract style where nature and landmarks are reimagined into a wild and colourful landscape.

About the Artist

Bbblob is a moniker by Singaporean visual artist and designer, Jacelyn Zhen. Her works explore harmony in form and colour. Bright, vivid and organic shapes interacting with one another to represent our relationship with ourselves and others. Making works that capture a sense of balance in the fleeting landscape of emotions. Jacelyn creates across various mediums including murals, printmaking, painting and sculpture. Through her works, she hopes to bring an uplifting spirit and a sense of balance to others.
