The Secret to the quality of FOUNDER’s Bak Kut Teh is the insistence of its founder Mr Chua Chwee Whatt on using specially formulated herbs and spices in its broth.
The recipe is created by Mr Chua himself, and perfected over many years of serving this wonderful peppery dish.
Hence the name “FOUNDER ROU GU CHA” came about.

White Pepper
Salt
Garlic Powder
Seasoning

Cooking Instructions:
Pork Ribs 1Kg
Soup Base 1 packet
Garlic 20 pcs
Water 1.8 L
Dark Soya Sauce 12 tea spoon
1. Rinse and drain pork ribs, put aside.
2. Place water, soup base, dark soya sauce and garlic in a pot and cook till boil.
3. Put in pork ribs and continue to cook till boil.
4. Lower to medium fire and simmer for simmer for 35 mins.
5. Turn off fire and cover for another 10 mins.
6. Ready to serve.
