Founded in 2014 by NUS graduates, Wateroam is a social enterprise developing portable, chemical-free water filters for disaster relief. Its filters have reached over 100,000 people across dozens of countries.

We empower individuals to lead a healthy life so that they can achieve their ambitions and fulfil their potential without the distractions of water-related ailments. Through these positive changes, individuals can work more productively, increase their employability and have access to better livelihoods.
Life
When water is scarce, communities have no choice but to drink contaminated water; we save lives daily by filtering out deadly bacteria and viruses to create clean drinking water for those in need.
Living
By preventing waterborne illnesses and dehydration, healthy children can attend school, play with friends, and even care for their families. We help children live their life to the fullest.
Livelihood
Clean water reduces sick days and mortality, enabling families to work and earn a livelihood; after they’ve experienced hardship, we give communities the opportunity to flourish.
Our watermark
As of July 2020, we have left our watermark across 38 countries and impacted over 100,000 lives.
This is only the start of our mission. There is still an urgent need for clean water across the globe and we are constantly working hard to eradicate global water poverty.
